Take a Challenge

Each month there will be a challenge for you to boost up your fitness and your wellness.  

Some months will be a physical some will be a wellness challenge and some might be a combination.  


From running to Strength development from balance to play and fun.  


Join in on 1 challenge or join them all.  Do all the challenges in this year and receive a great t-shirt but better yet you will receive the strength and power that comes from focus, determination and perseverence 


You do not need to be a member of Bent on Fitness but we'd love to have you.

Its up to you. Let's do this, together.

100 Workout 


A nearly 6 month challenge for accountability and consistency.  This is not a race or see who can get more done.  This challenge is to help you focus, push through tough times and help you stay consistent through vacations, the cool days of October and the busy times in November and Dec.


Whats involved:

  • And average of 4-5 sessions per week.  

  • Consistently coming to your training sessions

  • Getting a card stamped each time you train(or checked after you go out of town)

  • Only 1 stamp/day.  

  • Sessions on your own need to be at least 30 of active, intentional exercise( walking the mall or on city walking is nice but, Challenging yourself to do 30 minutes of core or one of the posted sessions if you are out of town is really the challenge)

  • You need to do at least 70 of the workouts with or at a Bent on Fitness Session.


Every 25th stamp you will get a bonus only for those in the Challenge


Extra or fun challenges along the way.  Last year for example:  Eat a new food, go for an extra walk, drink only water, learn something new


I will have extra workouts for posted on the facebook group or on the website.  If you do one of these workouts you just post a pic and send it for the group to share.  Either via email or facebook group.  


We all can use a little push and accountability in the way of a goal.  This challenge is meant to be that reminder to bring your best and to push toward your goal even when the days are short and you feel tired.

10,000 Swings Challenge

Some of us run, some walk and others would rather just take the car.
Bent on Fitness wants to challenge you to Go the Extra Mile for the month of November.
If you run, add a mile to your current run
If you walk, add a mile to your current walk
If you do neither than this is a great month to get up and go!
For the month of November the Bent on Fitness Challenge is to, Go the Extra Mile.
Yep, that could mean and extra 30 miles of walking or running this month. 
• If you run or walk 1 mile a day you will by the end have run or walked 30 miles over the month!
Just think that’s up to 30 miles of running or walking more than you did last month. What a great way to end the month. 
So what do you think, can you go the extra mile? 
**Just to help you out, Every Monday at 4:30pm before Superfit and Wednesday at 10 after Superfit in Moorpark Join in on a one mile run or walk.

That’s the first part. Now, how can you Go the Extra Mile for someone else this month?
Bring over a dinner
Pay for a stranger’s coffee
How about provide a meal or a bag of groceries for a family this holiday.
Simply open the door or help someone with their load.
Maybe it’s a family member or a neighbor or a stranger. Let’s pull together and Go the Extra Mile for others this month. 
Lets just find more ways to 

• Do you have to be a member of Bent on Fitness? No. Anyone can be a part of the Go the Extra Mile Challenge
• Do I have to run 30 miles by the end of the month? Add a mile a day a week just set the goal post it and Get up and Go!
• How much does this cost? Zero, Zip, Zilch. Even going the extra mile for someone else doesn’t have to cost you money. It may cost time or the “buy in” may be the satisfaction or “paying it forward”
• What if I don’t start on the 1st of November can I still participate? Absolutely! Join in any time. Just send a message with your goal for the rest of month of your mile goal.
